The comfort of a Mission Statement...

I have spent a lot of time over the last few months defining, and then refining my ‘mission statement’, which is a fancy way of saying that I have a piece of paper on my wall with what I want to achieve in my life, and how I plan to do it.

I expected that it would help me clarify where I should focus my time (which it has), but what I didn’t expect was the comfort it gives me when things are a bit frantic, or when I’m feeling stressed or confused about the best way forward.

Mission, Purpose, Vision, call it what you will, but having a clear sense of where you are going and how you want to get there can be a great solid rock in uncertain times….
