The symphony of life...

We tend to look at each day in isolated, absolute terms - today is a good day, or the more often uttered I’m having a bad day - rather than viewing it as a tiny part of something bigger.

In a previous post I calculated the small percentage of your life that each day represents (just 0.003% of a 90 year life), but reducing our days to pure numbers is to ignore the beauty and contribution that each one can make to our whole life, and the lives of those around us.

Better, then, to think of each day as a single note in the symphony of your life - flowing beautifully from the days that came before it, and setting the tone for the days and notes still to come….
