Possibility vs Purpose

For our ancestors, the ones who lived in caves, the most dangerous place to live was probably next to the Sabre Tooth Tiger camp.

These days, I think one of the most dangerous places we can live is in Possibility. You see, when we live in Possibility there is a very big risk that we will never actually get anything done - we’d spend all of our time thinking about what we could be doing, and not enough time actually doing it.

Personally I think the best place to live is in the quiet village of Purpose, a place where everyone knows what they have to do, and just gets on with doing it.

So yes, for me I would hate to dwell in Possibility - although it sounds like just the sort of place I’d love to spend my vacations.
