Change starts with a combination of mindfulness and questioning - clearly seeing ourselves in the moment, and asking ourselves whether we want to do more, less or none of this thing in the future.
Sitting here, with quiet music in the background, writing these words, I know that I want to do more of this.
Spending hour after hour packaging orders, enjoying the satisfaction of a job well done, I know I need to do it less if I am to realise my bigger goals.
And standing with a fake smile, biting my tongue at a social event I ‘should’ attend ? I want none of that in my future.
