About a month ago I started writing out my affirmations each morning - 9 sentences that are a mix of long-term goals, personal aspirations and statements of intent. Most are specific and personal, but here is one of them:
‘5. I will maintain a strong daily routine, and I will intentionally plan and execute my days for maximum effectiveness’.
Like all long-term, cumulative daily habits, the effect hasn’t been immediate or earth shattering, but I am definitely more focused and intentional with my days, and I have been getting more of the right stuff done.
Of course, this could just be coincidence, but if it really does work, what would YOU like to be doing better a month from now…
