Actions and results...

According to physics, every action has an equal and opposite reaction, but according to experience, every action can also have multiple, bigger, results.

Take, for example, my recent efforts to lose some weight.

On the face of it the actions (eat healthily and take regular exercise) yielded the results (I weighed less and need smaller jeans).

But those actions have had other effects across my whole life - not only am I sleeping better and have more energy, but achieving one difficult goal has encouraged me to tackle and move forward on other difficult goals, and my overall momentum and motivation have increased. T

aking action towards a difficult goal can sometimes feel a little daunting, but the simple act of starting can often have positive effects that you never even imagined…
